You may have noticed recently that the starting jackpots in the Euromillions have increased to 12 million GBP from the previous 10 million GBP. Great news!

There has not been any official comment made about this from the Euromillions' operators but there has clearly been a 2 million pound increase over the last 12 months or so.

While the jackpot used to begin at an estimated 10 million pounds, the latest estimated jackpot for this coming Friday was immediately listed at an estimated 12 million GBP.

Approximately 22 percent of the revenue generated from the sale of Euromillions tickets goes towards the jackpot prize. It is therefore clear to see that more and more people are becoming excited by the Euro lottery and as a result buying more and more tickets each week.

The Euro Millions jackpot of 92 million GBP has finally gone. Two lucky ticket holders from Spain and Portugal shared the jackpot, each collecting a wonderful 46 million pounds.
